An Empty Room

Empty rooms soothe me

Nothing to hold back

Turn up the music or maybe turn it down

Be productive, or just hit the sack.

A lot of freedom

There may be in our world

But only in an empty room

Can your own mind be truly unfurled.

The ocean inside you-

Usually plagued by choppy waves

Is calm and serene

In an empty room’s caves.

A book and a window

Watch the garden’s flowers bloom

A long deep breath to relax yourself

And enjoy the peace of an empty room.
