Have You Seen
Have you seen that smile
Like the happiness of unwrapping a gift,
Pure and exuberant.
Have you seen that hair,
Like a Jackson Pollock masterpiece,
Messy yet somehow perfectly in place.
Have you heard the way she speaks
Like a strong sea breeze on a summer evening,
Gently soothing, something you can’t get enough of.
Have you seen the way she stares
Like a campfire on a cold winter night,
Intense, yet wonderfully warm.
Have you seen the way she walks
Like a cataclysm in repose,
With calm, but a sense of deep purpose.
Have you seen her at all?
For if you have, you must’ve fallen in love with her.
