A Moment’s Respite

Swirling around in this endless hurricane of confusion

I craved for just a single moment’s respite,

Just a single moment of shelter from the horribly hurried and insanely intense life I found myself living,

A single moment away from the constant stream of thoughts that seemed to numb my mind every second of every day.

And I found it, while sitting under a blanket and the stars,

With nothing but a conversation to break the silence.

A breeze to feel cool, and the blanket for warmth, and someone to share the moment’s respite with,

What else could be better.
